Route 29: 002

 Don't know really how to start with this one. But one of my pokemon is kind of going disco fever on me. I've been looking through the Pokédex and trying to see what I can find on this, kind of coming with nothing here.

Can anyone help me out here?

[There's a slight glance and an eyeroll at Steve before going back to Pep.]

That's not telling me anything, kiddo.

[She sniffles then looks up at him. Babbles about her want to not evolve because what if she doesn't love him in the same way anymore. But as Tony doesn't speak a word of a pokemon language, Tony just stares at her not really sure what to do.]

[makes note to ask Carmen next time they talk]

Maybe you should see if Imogen's Espeon is willing to help you two talk.

You know that's probably a good idea. Where is she?

She can't be too far off.

[looks around from where he's at to see if he can see her near by]

Well, she's 18, cute, and traveling with three guys. And if I'm here, and you're here... Where's Thor?

[Tony's making a joke.. Mostly, but really he has no idea where she is right now.]

Best guess is she's off training. Thor as well.

[shakes his head with an amused look, he doesn't know where she is, but he can tell her Pokemon aren't weak, so he's not too worried]

Well. Looks like I'm just going to have to go and wait for her.

[He gives Pep another comforting pat as she keeps clinging to him.]

Keep an ear out for her instrument, she's easier to find if you do.

Yeah, it's never really been my kind of music.

She needs to learn bass.

Do you know how to play any instruments?

[arrogantalloy]

Uh, a little bit of piano. A few chords. Not really a hobby I took up.

[He grins, a little. He can also sing, but he just doesn't talk about it because it's just one of those things he never brags about]

I had always wanted to take up an instrument, but didn't have the childhood for it.

[sickness + money = not likely to have even the chance to learn]

Well, you still have a few years left. I hear it's never too late to learn. If all else fails, I'll find you a kazoo.

I'll give it some thought when I get home. [raises his eyebrows at him, skeptical] You can keep your kazoo to yourself.

[Tony chuckles] You really want to leave a Kazoo in my hands? Because even I know that's a bad idea.

That's a good point. You can give it to me and I'll give it to Thor.

You know, I kind of what to see him play a kazoo now. I mean, how often is a "Norse god" going to come across something like that?

Without your help, not often I'm sure.

I promise that if it happens, I'll teach him 'Star Spangled Man'. He would probably find that an honor.

[Doesn't hold back the cringe at the idea] That song should have died after the war. Please tell me you only know it because you're a Stark.

[Only smirks more at the fact Steve cringes, and decides to remember that for later.]

Well, I don't know how many other people know it, though it could be trending on YouTube now that you're all bright-eyed and spangly shield again. But yeah, I've seen reels. Which now I think about it, means you can't give me that look you give when I have dancing girls for my unveilings.

You choose to have the girls, for me they were just a part of an act that I performed for.

They were part of my act too.

But hey, it was kind of expected of me. Still probably is, really.
