Right, so after studying up on the pokedex, I’m going to need to know the best ways to routes 10 and 11 in Kanto as well as 37 Johto. I’m looking for some of these little guys in particular, and that’s where the Pokedex says they are.

Don’t think it’s going to be easy, because it never really is. But they’re going to come in more than a little handy while I have to re-establish myself. Not something really new, though the location has changed quite a bit.

But then again, some guy in a lab coat pointed out to me the more I use the bird, the more useful it'll be. And if making it strong while I get these other ones I'll need, well that's going to work in both our favours.

Also, these need names, right? Because if I have to call it what it's screeching, well, that's just going to really get on my nerves to be honest.

You know, power of crystals, acupuncture, re-alingining your chakra and third eye or something like that.

First, crystals what? Second, Acupuncture can be deadly or effective depending how you use it. Usually it's used for paralyzing and getting poisons into the body in combat. As for chakra. Uh, it's not that simple and civilians typically can't do it, because, hello, levels of chakra are directly affected by the level of your body.

I don't even know how to respond to the third eye thing. Is that some pretend genjutsu match civilians came up with?

No this is all pretty much just under the bracket of 'alternative medicine' which, well I've never given it the time of day because it all sounds like smoke and mirrors to me.

Genjutsu, illusions I guess is another word for it though not... right.

Medical training takes a lot more work than just pretending and hoping for the best.

You'd be surprised how many people in my world use those things because they think Doctors are evil and are only after your money. I mean, I've never really enjoyed a hospital, but I've been there enough to know they're only doing their jobs.

Errr I'd rather not have a civi medic, but they'll do when there isn't a real medic around. I mean, even I know field first aid.

Unless you mean the healing thing, then yeah. No idea on what level that is.

Civilian medics are, sadly, rarely any better at using the body's chakra in any way that would be effective to speed healing. Not to say they're useless but... it's not the same.
