Type: Canon character
Age: 45 birthdays so far

History/Key Points:
- May 29, 1970 to Howard and Maria Stark (Nee Carbonell) became the parents to Anthony Edward Stark in Long Island, New York.

- 1974 Tony created his first working circuit board at 4

- 1976 Tony built his first working engine at 6

- 1985 Tony entered M.I.T as the youngest enrolling student at 15
- Tony builds both DUM-E and U while in school

- 1987 Maria and Howard Stark die in a car accident. Later to be revealed to be a plot by HYDRA (It’s unclear that Tony knows this in canon.) Tony also graduates from M.I.T at the top of his class.

- 1991 At 21 Tony is old enough to fill the requirements for him to take over the position of C.E.O from his father’s business partner, Obadiah Stane. Who is also the closest thing Tony has had to a real father figure.

- 1992 – 2008 Tony builds the company from a milti-million-dollar company into a multi-billion-dollar industry. Stark Industries is a diverse company from weapons manufacturing to biodiversity. Creating advances in medicine, developing ‘Intelli-crops’ that yield high results from poor growth areas, scientific equipment, and electronic devices.

- 1999 At a New Year party/lecture in Bern, Switzerland, Tony meets bioengineer Maya Hansen, and up and coming C.E.O and founder of Advanced Idea Mechanics, Aldrich Killian. He ‘spent the night’ with Mia, and blew Killian off after his excited want to meet both Tony and Maya.

- 2009 (When Iron Man takes place) A major year in Tony’s life. At first it was no different to any other year until he goes to Afghanistan to demonstrate one of his new weapons.
- After the display his convoy is attack and while trying to scramble to safety one of his own missiles blows up next to him, embedding shrapnel into his chest and rendering him unconscious, where he is captured by the 10 rings and has a ransom set to his name, threatening death if he is not delivered. Not that the ransom matters much as they have their own plans to torture and attempt to intimidate him into making his weapons for him.
- While in captivity he meets a man named Yinsen, who helped him create a miniature version of the Arc reactor his father designed to put into his chest to run the electro magnet Yinsen installed in him while unconscious
- Tony ‘agreed’ to build weapons for the 10 Rings, but instead he and Yinsen instead built an armoured suit in order to get them both out of captivity.
-Yinsen gave up his life to give Tony more time to get the suit ready, telling him to make something of his life that he can be proud of.
- On returning home Tony starts building a new suit with better specs than the slapped together model he built in a cave, and after testing and the creation of a third suit, he goes to Gulmria where hostages are being held, which was also Yinsen’s home and takes out the insurgents and their weapons.
- After finding out Obidiah built his own armoured suit using the scraps from Tony’s first suit as a base line, Tony gets to fighting Stane, killing him in the process. After announcing to the world that he is indeed Iron Man he continues to be Iron Man, taking our terrorist cells, paying attention to those who have his weapons.
-Nicholas Fury, Director of S.H.E.I.L.D informs Tony that he has a program called the Avengers Initiative that he’d like Tony to be in on. Tony rejects the offer, but is still easily talked into going to meet with General Ross as the military has plans to

- 2010 (When Iron Man 2 takes place.) Tony opens a yearlong expo creatively titled “Stark Expo”.
- It becomes clear to Tony that due to prolonged use of his Iron Man armour is causing the palladium within his arc reactor to poison him at a much faster speed than he had anticipated. While he does try hard to find a replacement for palladium, he starts to become more erratic than usual having (Even for him) more outlandish parties, buying and selling things on a whim and slowly pushes his only friends away because he feels this will protect them from his fast approaching death.
-While attending a summons to court, the senate demands Tony hand over the armour, Tony turns them down without a thought smugly demanding they should be thanking him for all the lives he’s saved in that armour. He also manages to make a fool out of Justin Hammer (It’s not hard).
- Ivan Vanko sees the senate hearing on C-Span and after his father dies, makes his own version of the arc reactor, weaponizing it himself and attempts to kill Tony in Monaco during the Grand Prix which has entered himself into (Tony’s in the race, not Vanko).
- He meets Natasha Romanoff for the first time who’s under the fake name of Natalie Rushman. He learns her identity and profession soon enough after hiring her as his assistant, after making Pepper his C.E.O.
- During an out of control party, Rhodie takes Tony’s Mk. II armour and fights him in it. When the fight comes out pretty much on his side he takes off with the armour, which the air force then has Justin Hammer outfit with weapons.
-When things are starting to look super dire, Nicholas Fury, Director of S.H.E.I.L.D comes onto the scene giving him a box of Howard’s things assuring him he’ll find the answer in there. Phil Coulson is mostly on the scene to make sure Tony sees his self-help through however gets pulled out to go to New Mexico to deal with another problem *cough*Thor*cough*. Tony manages to give form to the element his father discovered all those years ago and uses it to power his arc reactor.
- In attempt to outdo Tony and make him look bad, Hammer break Vanko out of jail. Thinking that a mutual dislike of Tony stark means that he can use Vanko to create autonomous armour for the various military branches. However, Vanko has remote control of the armour and uses them to hunt down Tony at the expo.
-Vanko dies, and Hammer gets sentenced to prison. Romanoff asses that Iron Man is fit for the Avengers Initiative, however Tony is too unreliable for the team.

- 2011 (Avengers) Coulson comes to Tony while he’s celebrating the fact he’s almost finished with the build of Stark Tower in New York with Pepper. To inform him things aren’t going smooth right now and that he will be needed for the team. Tony mouths him off, but realizes how things are going right now and does indeed help. Meeting with Steve Rogers, and Natasha Romanoff in Germany to assist in Loki’s capture.
- Tony and Thor have a large smack down that Captain America breaks up because they have things to do more important than slapping each other around a German forest.
- Once all on the hellicarrier, due to the influence of the scepter Loki had in his possession the beginnings of the Avengers broke into a fight that Loki was able to take advantage of through Clint Barton the end result lead to the Avengers all somewhat temporarily splitting up.
- After all is said and done, and Loki unleashes an alien horde to come to earth to destroy its contents all because Thor likes Earth, so Loki must burn the Earth??? The Avengers come together fight the good fight and take down Loki and the Chitauri alien race. In part of them being a hive mind, which they only discovered due to Tony catching a nuke launched to take out Manhattan and instead sends it through the black hole to wipe out the mother ship.

- 2013 (Iron Man 3) Killian, whom Tony snubbed all those years ago comes back into the picture to woo Pepper into having Stark Industries help fund his Extremsis program which is headed by Maya Hansen.
- Tony admits that he rarely sleeps now because he gets terrible nightmares about the events of the Avengers, specifically going through the black hole and coming back out again. So instead of sleep he has been making suits. By this time, he’s working out the kinks in the Mk 43.
- A Mandarin attack on Grumman’s Chinese Theatre put Tony’s driver Happy into a coma and causes Tony to go on a revenge mission to right the wrong that happened. In pining down what he can about these attacks his mansion in Malibu is attacked nearly killing him and Pepper in the process. Due to a previous flight log set up the armour takes him to Tennessee.
- While there Tony meets a kid called Harley who tries to help him in his search, the kid is vaguely helpful to him, however he is denied by Tony to come with him on the rest of the mission. Because well it’d be too dangerous and Tony likes to pretend he doesn’t form bonds with people.
-Tony finds out that the man who has been calling himself the Mandarin is just a drug addict stage actor from Croydon, England. And that the real mastermind was Killian, who has managed to kidnap Pepper, inject her with the Extremsis serum and plans to keep her as a trophy after he defeats Iron Man.
- He doesn’t defeat Iron Man, but quite the other way around, well to start with then Pepper finally kills him with her new Extremsis abilities. During the final battle Tony enlists the help of not only Rhodie but all his previous model Iron Man armour with their varied abilities to fight the Killian’s Extremsis Imbued soldiers. Once the “day was saved” Tony had J.A.R.V.I.S. enact the “Blank slate protocol” to destroy the remaining armour so Tony could start himself over.
- 2015 (Avengers: Age of Ultron)
- The Avengers have been searching for the Sceptre Loki had after Hydra took over SHIELD
- During the raid that finally gets them the sceptre, Wanda Mazimoff enhances Tony's fear that team will not be able to save the Earth from the next alien threat and that him and his less than worthiness will be the only one not to die.
- This prompts him to revive the Ultron program, which ultimately goes wrong.
- This leads to a demoralising fight that they lose and need to regroup, where once again Steve and Tony get into an argument due to their backgrounds an ideologies making it hard for them to see eye-to-eye when they're equally matched in stubborn.
- Like the last Avengers movie they save the day but Tony doesn't momentarily die this time.

Personality:
Tony Stark is for lack of a better word, a Peacock when it comes to being in public. He makes a point of acting larger than life, with big grins and as much of a show as possible. He loves to present himself in tailored suits and beautifully groomed, he exudes charm, grace, and confidence to the point of obvious cockiness.

When he meets people he has a tendency to get into personal space as soon as possible, as a way to keep his control over the situation. He has a habit of keeping up a ‘magician’s act’ getting everyone to look at his right hand while the left one is doing something else. He’s also as stubborn as a mountain and hates to give way on something he doesn’t agree with, opting to openly defy those opposing him than give in and go with their demands.

He is the biggest promoter of his external persona of the ‘Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist’ and while all these things about him are true, he will always play up to it in public, that being said, however, he is loyal to those he considers to be his in various way, and is very protective of them in his own ways. When he was lead to believe that Agent Phil Coulson was dead, it was the moment that Tony had decided that Loki had taken it too far and had made it his mission to make sure that Loki didn’t get away with what he had done. Even going so far to tell Loki that not only had his made enemies of all those within the Avengers (While interestingly enough, leaving himself completely out of the equation), that he had also pissed off Phil Coulson.

With the events of IM3 behind him. Tony has wiped the slate clean, he has had his reactor and the remaining shrapnel removed from his body, which has left a scar on his chest that still receives Tony’s absent minded tapping, and has since started working on new Iron Man suits that work with their own chest pieces. He has also realized how his previously arrogant ways have managed to effect those that he has previously disregarded in his life, which has further humbled his personality when out of the limelight.

Tony is a man of many complexities that at times almost seem at odds with each other. He claims to not be sentimental, however the three robots in his movies were built while he was in college and he has always kept them with him. He is impulsive and vain, yet can muster a great deal of foresight and strategy, and is really not afraid to get his hands dirty. Not only that, but as someone who is seen by the world as a play boy, he has a deep sense of romance within himself that few get to see.

Tony Stark is a quick-witted genius, who near compulsively talks over other people in order to justify his own thoughts. While he is also able to come off as rather unflappable and cool headed, most all of Tony’s expressions come straight from his eyes and eyebrows. Once his mind is made up on something his eyes will show it, and if you can see it in his eyes then there is very little point in attempting to dissuade him.

He is also a man of great depth and emotion, however it is all greatly internalized. When learning about the crimes being committed by the 10 rings in Golmera, Tony is furious but very little of it comes to the surface, at most the only thing that truly shows this is the hard expression he wears and his repulsor assault on his windows. Because for Tony, a great deal of his life is based on what he can control of it. Which is shown time and again, when Tony has no control over what is happening around him he can become erratic in his movements has he fights to get back on top of the situation, or he will become self-destructive.

His erratic behavior is shown in the first movie when he is presented with the events of Golmera, where he take his frustration out on his shop then heads straight to the middle eastern town in his newly machined Mark III armour and takes out all of the insurgents, without telling anyone or any actual training in any way including basic self-defence, Just his relatively untested suit.

Self-destructive behaviour is shown in the second movie when the repeated use of his Iron man armour starts to cause accelerated palladium poisoning, and without a suitable element which at the time couldn’t be found, he would die. Which after a few failed attempts to let those close to him know due to how hard it is for him to express his feelings lead him to become more reckless with his life than usual causing him to become a bigger grandstander, wasting more money than needed and becoming dangerously drunk drastically pushing away Rhodie and Pepper from him.

Even though Tony has been born into money and can be over the top frivolous with it, he is also exceedingly generous with it, with his money going to his own charities like the (Maria*) Stark foundation, and the Boy Scouts of America. Even going so far as to run the Stark Expo for an entire year in order to give up and comers the chance to showcase their work in order to get additional funding from those attending the expo or just to show off what it on the horizon.

Tony’s genius is currently unparalleled; the only person who rivaled him was his father who died roughly 30 years ago, while Tony was 17. Which is shown in his history with robots, his creating of JARVIS, not to mention his adapting his father’s arc reactor and being able to design a personal full body prosthesis that can achieve flight, is completely self-pressurised and contains an internal waste filtration system, also known as the Iron Man armour.

Before his kidnapping, Tony was never concerned about accountability, but once seeing the effects that his weapons had on the innocent, he became very aware that everything you do has consequences and you should be held responsible for it. To that end when something happened Tony took it upon himself to correct what had happened, from Obadiah Stane becoming the Iron Monger, Ivan Vanko wanting revenge for his wronged father, Justin Hammer’s desperate need to show Tony up with inferior products, even so far as to take on some of the responsibility for Loki’s rampage. Each time he put his life on the line to correct these problems, believing that as long as the correct outcome was achieved his life was negligible. However he would always put his life on the line when he couldn’t formulate any other plan of action. Not one to lay down on the wire himself, but cut the wire, proving that Tony would rather lose no lives, than lose one heroic one.
Due to his father being almost cruelly distant, and his mother barely being mentioned, it is obvious as to why Tony has a hard time being a part of team situations, or even trusting others on a basic level. It is even shown that the only people he will be ‘real’ with are Pepper, Rhodie and to a certain extent Happy. But even then the moment things would get to a certain level of real he would immediately pull back or say something that he knew would cause distance. This is most obviously shown in the first half of Iron Man II. It was only when confronted with a challenge far too big for him to handle on his own that he was actually open to the idea of not only being part of a team, but being in a position that wasn’t the direct leader. However he does seem to stand somewhere between co-leader to Steve Rogers (Captain America) and second in command as the others are more likely to take orders from him than give order to him. For a man like Tony Stark this is probably one of his biggest steps in personal development.

This also points back to how in the past he's only ever been able to rely on himself, and living in the spotlight naturally means people are going to use you to get their own fame even if it's just to claim they touched his stardom. While he was younger he used those people to his advantage but never really trusted them to do anything more than be wham, bam, thank you Stark. As such the number of people who ever had his trust was relatively small, insanely small. For the most part he could only trust Obadiah Stane to run Stark Industries and give him some advice when he lost his parents, while in M.I.T he met James Rhodes and developed a friendship and trust there. After that Pepper also came into the fold after he selected her to be his personal assistant. Up until 2008 these were the only people he's ever trusted and relied on.

Obadiah who had most of Tony's trust and knew this used it to his obvious advantage to manipulate Tony into giving what he wanted. The older man soon grew tired of Tony's ways and tried to have him killed which only resulted in a ransom demand, upon Tony's return, Obadiah used Tony's then seemingly strange actions to lock him out of his own company to take control. Then he made another more personal attempt on Tony's life which lead to Obadiah's own death. This was a huge moment for Tony, to find out that the only person her truly ever saw as a father figure was doing nothing more than using him for his intelligence and creations, so for a man who only trusted three people he took it as a severe blow, it shook his trust in people so deep that when realising he was dying in the second movie he hid it from Pepper and Rhodes until it could no longer be hidden.

Because of his aversion to trust Tony was readily dismissed as someone who cannot and will not be a part of a team, a fact that as used against him at several points between Iron Man II and the Avengers, especially when it came to Steve Rogers who say this trait in him to be a weakness because he would end up endangering more lives than he could save. This however is a mixed blessing, he might not trust easy but when he has trust in you it's unwavering, this can be seen in Tony's interactions with Bruce Banner. He found something to trust in Bruce through his dedication to his scientific fields and that like Tony his ways led him to become 'cursed' with something that was both terrible and beautiful, which Tony saw in himself and wanted Bruce to see too, it was an easily formed trust as Tony had little fear of Bruce's other side which made Bruce feel not only accepted but comfortable, finding Tony's curiosity and boundary testing more endearing than annoying.
With the release of the Winter Soldier Tony's distrust has proved somewhat fruitful in that while he worked with S.H.I.E.L.D as both an Avenger and as a consultant as they have turned out to have had Hydra burrow into their ranks and not only murdered his parents and countless others, subverting politics and situations of conflict to their own ends, but there was a momentary attempt on his life as well as at least 200,000 + others due to a 'security' system being manipulated by Hydra in order to take out any and all lives that could now or in the future be a threat to their rule.
This has only served to reinforce his natural distrust of others, especially those who naturally tend to be secretive or appear to have hidden agendas.

Gem: Rubellite (Red Tourmaline)
For a start, Rubellite doesn’t change its colour when exposed to natural or artificial light and while some aspects of Tony do change compared to public or private life his on the whole Tony is still general a self-confident man with his own shine/style that will never be impressed upon.

“Rubellite is said to deter people from disputing your expertise, picking fights, pulling rank or otherwise being unreasonable.” To a certain degree this is quite a match for Tony, as he is well known for his genius and confidence which probably causes few people to actively challenge him on an average day. (Not that it always happens this way, but not gem is truly flawless, right?) It’s also said that it helps neutralize the harmful flow that electronics like computers tend to cause, as Tony’s an engineer and inventor one could easily say that electronics would affect him differently.

More importantly, Rubellite has a lot of properties dealing with the heart, it harmonizes, causes balance, encourages the creative spirit, and also makes one the life of the party. The social butterfly part aside, this is a part of Tony that the gem can help improve as the man is quite capable of and longs for love from others his past has made it both hard and awkward for him to express.

Power Considerations: (When at full control of course)
Technomancy – Tony is able to perceive, intercept, understand, control and generate electronic, digital, and radio transmissions without accessing any standard source of communication, being in essence a living wireless hub/computer.

Sleep Manipulation – Tony can induce, manipulate, and enhance all aspects of sleep in themselves or in others, including dreams, daydreams and nightmares. They can manipulate sleep patterns and induce instantaneous sleep on biological subjects, or to induce perpetual insomnia, remove the need to sleep or make them dreadfully tired all the time. (This is used more on himself than anything else)

Energy Manipulation – Tony can create, shape and manipulate the energy that is created/generated by the emotions of every all living things in existence by capable of feeling them. They are able to increase, decrease or change it.

Extra: Is there anything else we need to know, that we didn't mention above? Note it here!

CHARACTER

character name | Anthony Edward Stark
age | 16
year | Second
gender | Male
appearance | He has the healthy look of a young man who spent equal parts inside and outside the house. Pretty much born with a cocky expression, he has dark brown hair and eyes and is an average height for his age, though looks younger than he is. Which is due to him spending a lot of his free time in garages working on various engineering or mechanical projects.

history | MCU Tony Stark's History. Which pretty much glosses over his teenage years.

AU history | At 16 Tony hasn't had too much in the way of a history. But he is the first son of Howard Stark, who is both an engineering genius and making the most of his family's fortune to develop new technology and improve everyday life as well as aiding in technologies to help the America aid the allies in winning the Great War.

Because of this, Howard is seen as a celebrity and something of an American hero. It has also caused Tony to have a taste for the spotlight himself. He finds this is easy for him to come by due to his inherited engineering genius, which he has been able to show off by building a miniature steam engine when he was just 6 years old, a project he took a great delight in. This accomplishment that earned him extensive media coverage, particularly through articles in newspapers. Sadly for Tony, Howard paid precious little attention to him, treating him more like a burden and a bother than an actual son. Maria, Tony's mother, would try to reassure Tony, telling him that his father wasn't mean to him on purpose and that he only comes off as cold to Tony because he's so busy all the time.

Tony's preteen days involved his dad often away on business, and his mother had a lot of social functions and clubs to attend. Because of this Tony see's his butler Edwin Jarvis as an actual parent as he is the only person who interacts with regularly, this has lead to a lot of Tony's aloof behavior because simply put the only person he can trust to be there for him is paid by his father to look after the house. His days were lonely, but at least they aren't unproductive which is in part how it lead to his time good and free to build his steam engine, along with smaller little things he would make out with erector sets. As lonely as Tony was he worked hard to not show it, while still fairly aloof he still would talk to people easily enough, laugh and make jokes. In the end he would always find away to isolate himself from the others just so he can go back to his projects, or reading about anything that caught his interest from mechanical engineering to some of the latest scientific developments.

At first while in School Tony would follow along with the teachers and learn in the moment. However he quickly discovered that he was a lot smarter than those around him and soon took to reading at first months ahead, then soon he was well a head of even the years above him, spending his time in class to learn about other subjects that interest him, as well as correcting teachers when they were so obviously wrong. Something that would get him regularly scolded, but he was both smart enough and rich enough to not at all be concerned by their words. By the end of his Elementary days he was actively ignoring class in favor of amusing himself.

Once Tony was sent to Boarding School, Tony wasn't sure he could believe his Mom's words anymore. After all, it felt like to Tony that he was being hurried away to the school before his Dad could even finish reading the acceptance letter.

personality | Tony Stark, of the New York Starks is used to people talking about him. After all he's the son of the brilliant inventor, Howard Stark who prides himself on his own accomplishments and family standing (He works hard at being a functioning alcoholic only showing his temper behind closed doors). Tony himself is also known for his brilliance as well as having a similar charm to his father, something that shows when he's at parties where the teen is paraded about between school semesters to help the image of Starks being great party planners, creators and all around dazzling people.

His out of the spotlight charm and dazzle is more muted behind school walls, mostly due to the fact that he feels like he has nothing to prove to the students and teachers. He knows how intelligent he is and has little interest in class participation, instead opting to not pay attention or write in his books about other things, usually about mechanics and ways to make his school life easier. His school work surprisingly doesn't suffer under his disinterest, as his ability to retain information is usually put to good use through late night study sessions the night before exams and due dates. He's also not immune to causing mischief and with the inadvertent training in sarcasm from his Butler Jarvis back in New York, he's good at talking people in circles or talking them into going along with one of his potential dangerous but inventive ideas

When approached by anyone he considers 'new' (Or someone he doesn’t consider a friend) Tony will generally act aloof and dismissive of them unless they have something about them that causes him to be curious, as a curious Stark is a Stark you can't get rid of until they have learnt what they can. However those that are friends with Tony will have a weirdly loyal friend despite the fact he will tend to keep most of his own problems to himself, as he knows that when the elite have a weakness it can be talked about or exploited which has been drilled into him via his father. Being his friend also means that he will offer up specific ways to annoy just you. That being said he'll still be aloof and dismissive towards his friends as well, but he will also make time for them and do things for them dismissing any praise for what he does.

His need to keep people at a distance with his aloofness stems from Howard, who Tony really wants to have a better relationship but any chance he's taken has been met with disinterest, dismissal, or berating. The few times his father has ever shown interest has been when he has invented something, but only so much as to scrutinize the work and offer an assessment on how it could be improved. Tony deeply respects Howard as a man of science and progress but really wishes the man knew how to be a parent too.

SAMPLES

sample 1 | While fast cars are certainly a thing Tony enjoys, it's more fair to say he enjoys fast things in general. Which is why he's presently in the stables brushing down his Black Arabian mare after a morning of hard riding. This is one of the few times when Tony isn't being an ass and actually looks like he's taking something seriously. Well, serious about something that isn't mechanics.

"Friday, who gave you these shoes? I know I didn't." He taps his chin with the curry comb still in his hands, he shrugs at the thought because it was probably one of the in school attendants. Friday's last shoes were looking a little on the worn side when she was delivered here. "I wonder how long it would take our farrier to get here from Long Island? Or maybe I should give it a try myself, I've taken a first run model T engine apart and put it back together by myself. How hard can it be?"

He ponders aloud, not expecting anyone to answer. Which is how he always talks, mostly owning to the fact that short of his dismissive father, most people couldn't keep up with a lot of his mutterings. The Arab however at least understands the inflection in her master's voice if nothing else and turns to look at him trepidatiously giving him an anxious knicker.
"You. Take the fun out of everything." He sighs at the horse as he goes back to grooming her.

His erratic behaviour is shown in the first movie when he is presented with the events of Golmera, where he take his frustration out on his shop then heads straight to the middle eastern town in his newly machined Mark III armour and takes out all of the insurgents, without telling anyone or any actual training in any way including basic self-defence, Just his relatively untested suit.

Tony’s genius is currently unparalleled; the only person who rivalled him was his father who died roughly 30 years ago, while Tony was 17.

This has only served to reinforce his natural distrust of others, especially those who naturally tend to be secretive or appear to have hidden agendas

(I don't know who has and hasn't seen the movie so have a bit of a spoiler bar.)

*While it is stated the Tony started the Maria Stark foundation in supplemental data within MCU it is only referred to in the movies as anything more than the Stark Foundation.

Setting:
Tony’s going to hate it, the idea of it all as well as the fact he’s being forced into it. Once he realises arena deaths aren’t permanent, he’s probably going to become more reckless in the arenas and far more mocking of the system, if not make attempts on the system anyway he can. All because Tony Stark hates: Being told what to do, being forced to kill, innocents being hurt in general and because of him.

When Tony’s consciousness returns to him he jerks up violently with a startled cry, patting himself down as if he was still on fire, his erratic flailing is so sharp and sudden it causes him to shake himself from the bed he’s on and onto the ground. He looks at the sterile floor for a moment then with a quick glance around then stands up brushing himself off.

“Well, at least there’s no fire.” He looks incredibly unimpressed with the situation and starts wandering around poking at things left in the room. He’s never been able to handle hospitals, too clean, too sterile, to uniform and too rigid. He knows why they’re like that, but it doesn’t mean he has to enjoy it. “You know I’d really li-“ He’s interrupted by the speakers.

"Please use the device to the right to record your current feeling on your loss. Once you are finished, someone will be along to take you back to the Capitol." On cue, a small recording device starts to chirp on Tony’s right. He eyeballs it for a moment then ignores it with a derisive noise.

“Yeah, sure. Current feelings about my loss. Okay.” He turns his back on it trying to take stock to see if he can get out of here himself. He manages to ignore the device for a while, but when he comes up empty with useful things to get out with he turns on the camera.

“You want to know my feelings? Really? Because I don’t think it’s a loss. That.” His arm points towards a wall, he has no idea if that’s the direction of the arena, but he points anyway. ”That Stark Barbecue, didn’t kill me. Or if it did, you brought me back clean. So it’s not a loss. It’s a stepping stone. If you want to learn from a lab rat, you throw it out when it dies. Or maybe autopsy it, whatever, the point is. The game is on now. You want to play? Fine, I can give a show. But I’m done with your rules.” And with that, Tony walks over to a counter grabbing gauze and medical tape then proceeds to tape up the camera. Then gets casually comfortable on the bed waiting for people to come for him.

Prose

Tony tries to keep as much composure as possible as he's rushed into the room, he straightens his clothes and takes in his surroundings, walking around picking things up and putting them down again, he takes a moment to look at the Gamemakers with a slightly raised eyebrow then goes back to looking at the weapons. Idly he picks up a dagger, feeling it's weight then eyes the metal of the blade sniffs at it with near distain then puts it back down before addressing the Gamemakers again.

"Normally, when people want me to make a presentation, they give me more time to set something up." Then he gestures to a room. "Or at least a white board and markers. But hey, what good is dryease in a live action MMO?" He sticks his hands in his pockets and just stares at them, Tony is usually a man who can't help but fidget with things to distract his hands however right now he knows a powerplay is happening so his hands are steady and still. "I'm not going to fight people I've never met just because it's do or die. Not really my thing." He pauses looking like he's not going to say anymore, but it's Tony he's just building his moments. "And come on, you have to have seen enough movies in your lives to know that this." Tony spreads his hands to encompass the situation of the death matches.

"And you" He gestures to the Gamemakers. "Historically, and literarily. You don't win in these situations, especially not when you're bringing someone like me into this situation. Never really been big on being told what to do. I have nothing to prove to you, I've gone my whole life without proving myself, and I'm not about to start now just because my life could be at stake." He then looks around again then starts heading for the door he was pushed in through. "Enjoy your day, boys and girls."

What is your character scored
:

Without any of Tony’s Iron Man armour, he isn’t overly strong.

He has enough upper body strength from his hands from his need to build things, evident throughout the movies, he’s even a capable blacksmithing. However he isn’t much past an average fighter.

He is however cunning, erratic, and a genius meaning he can work his way around most situations provided he gets a moment to think and take stock of what he has or can get a hold of. Tony is also endlessly charismatic and charming when he wants to be, so he would easily play up to the crowd if he thinks it will work for him. He is however very stubborn and if he doesn’t like a situation he’ll fight it.

He is more than confident in his abilities and knows exactly how his world sees him. However he also has a certain dislike for himself which is why he puts on so main airs about himself to cover up how much he actually can’t stand himself at times. Tony is both an electrical, and mechanical engineer, and can build damn near anything with the right tools and materials, but he’s also incredibly good at improvising, as shown in Iron Man III where he wires up an electrified stun glove, flash bang Christmas baubles, and a small explosive, all items he made were bought from a standard hardware store.

So all in all I would rank Tony an 8.

IC Information

CHARACTER NAME: Tony Stark
AGE: 48
CANON: Marvel Cinematic Universe
CANON POINT: End of Thor: The Dark World (He wasn’t in it, but it’s a universe, it makes sense)

FAMILY TYPES:
Metal Empire: Tony is used to doing things on his own, as such he tends to keep his plans fairly close to his chest to the frustrations of those around him. If Tony doesn’t like how a situation is going, if it is within his power he will turn events into his favour. An example of this is in Iron Man 2 when he’s at the hearing over his suit. When everyone suggests that people are already trying to develop their own suits to match Tony’s he hacks their systems to prove how far away these places are to being successful, then showing off about it.

Dragons Roar: “hardheaded, tempered, and rash” these are usually words that are said when describing Tony, mostly in a frustrated tone of voice too. He is naturally very stubborn and very often refuses to take part in something unless he is able to obtain some form of control, anything from being in the actual lead of a situation or finding ways to get under peoples skin in order to gain the upper hand on them. When the cards are down however, Tony has enough confidence in himself and his ability to take the lead (Or in some cases defer the lead) and has shown himself to be a fairly competent person to have in charge when it’s important.

Virus Busters: It is undeniable that Tony is a good soul. The second he was given photo’s proving that his company were selling weapons to “the bad guys” Tony immediately tried to find out what was wrong, when he found out that his own business partner and mentor, he flew his freshly machine shopped Mark III armour to Golmera and neutralised the threat, as well as trying to work around Obadiah to also take him out. Other examples are both big and small, in The Avengers, Phil Coulson revealed to Pepper Potts, that his cellist girlfriend had returned to Portland. While it appeared that Tony wasn’t listening, you later see him talking to Coulson offering to fly him to Portland in his private jet for a weekend and that you should always ‘keep love alive’. Another larger example was Tony Risking his life (Again) to take the nuclear device that was fired on New York and fly it straight into the worm whole while being not overly concerned about the return flight (though still telling JARVIS to give him enough power for the flight home).

APPEARANCE: You should know what he looks like [/ego]<

PERSONALITY:

He is also a man of great depth and emotion, however it is all greatly internalised. He is the biggest promoter of his external persona of the ‘Genius billionaire playboy philanthropist’ and while all these things about him are true, he will always play up to it in public, that being said, however, he is loyal to those he considers to be his in various way, and is very protective of them in his own ways. When he was lead to believe that Agent Phil Coulson was dead, it was the moment that Tony had decided that Loki had taken it too far and had made it his mission to make sure that Loki didn’t get away with what he had done, even going so far to tell Loki that not only had his made enemies of all those within the Avengers (While interestingly enough, leaving himself completely out of the equation), that he had also pissed of Phil Coulson.

Tony has whipped the slate clean, he has had his reactor and the remaining shrapnel removed from his body, which has left a scar on his chest that still receives Tony’s absent minded tapping, and has since started working on new Iron Man suits that work with their own chest pieces. He has also realised how his previously arrogant ways have managed to effect those that he has previously disregarded in his live, which has further humbled his personality when out of the limelight.

FIRST PERSON:
[When the feed comes on, Tony is sitting at a chair. He obviously has the camera resting on a table in front of him. He looks lost in thought and is looking off to the top right of the camera in the middle distance, it looks like he's been thinking very hard. After a few moments he licks his lips slowly.]

So, it looks like that I'm not as prepared for everything as I think.

I've made mistakes here. But that's not really new, I've always been a bit of a mess so really that's a statement that shouldn't really surprise anyone, I've never really been perfect, my track record alone really shows that, and even all my character defaults...

[He runs his hand over his lower jaw. while he takes a breath, realising he was going off track.]

I haven't been taking this place seriously. And it nearly cost someone their life, because I wasn't fast enough. So what I'm trying to say here is that. Well, I have to try harder, this.

[He fidgets with his hands, Tony's been trying to post this for days, there have been a few moments where he's started recording only to turn it off again. So he's feeling kind of proud he was able to be more him than his persona to the public for once.]

THIRD PERSON:
Tony sat on the end of the bed, his elbows resting on his knees as his head was cradled in his hands. He watches himself in the mirror.
All this talk of Queens and people living on the other side of the mirror. Seemed strange, not impossible or unlikely. After all. Tony had seen a great many things that were a lot less believable than where ever he was now. However it didn’t make it any less strange. So here Tony sat. Staring at his apparent reflection, wondering how he could figure out the world on the other side.

Standing, Tony crossed the palatial room that he had chosen, to stand in front of the mirror. He held his chin between his thumb and forefinger thoughtfully, his eyes searching his own for a hit of being more than it appeared. He tapped the glass, watching as his reflection mimicked him.

“JARVIS, can you run me a diag-...”

Tony turned to look at his suit that stood in the corner quietly. Right now, the suit was the only place that JARVIS could live. So really. This whole different world in the mirrors could wait.
He needed to get JARVIS a proper computer to upload to, he was is right hand program after all. And really, with the characters he found here, including those from the Avengers who were also here. He was going to need JARVIS to keep him from doing something stupider than normal, besides Tony was at his happiest when he was completely lost in building something.

Background: MCU history of Tony Stark

Abilities: Tony is a born genius, and has accomplished many great things with that genius in his 48 years of life. From building his own circuit board at four years old to enhancing and miniaturising his father’s original arc reactor design to make it not only work, but support an electro-magnet living within his chest (at least until he had it removed very recently). He even build a particle accelerator in his workshop in order to help physically realise an element his father theorised, which he is in the process of trying to get named ‘Badassium’

There is very little that Tony stark cannot build or design, he even goes to the trouble of designing programs for hacking into specific places just to find out the information being held within. To this end, there is very little that Tony can’t do with the resources he has on hand.

Due to his genius and design ability he is also amazingly creative when he wants or needs to be. The main example of this being the Mark I Iron Man suit and Mark I miniaturised Arc Reactor, as they were developed in a cave somewhere in Afghanistan by retasking the weapons his captors bought from his own company under the table and anything else they brought for him, thinking he was building them more weapons. It’s shown again in IM3, with his home destroyed the only accessible suit having no power and his being thought dead, Tony slips into a hardware store buying several trollies worth of items and then creating himself a mini arsenal to use to get into the Mandarin’s compound, including a stun glove and explosive Christmas baubles.

He’s also a business man and public figure, he knows what deals to make, when to turn on the charm or turn it off, and is skilled at turning things into his favour.

This isn't a holiday, or a resort, so tell me... What's the best way to take on the gym leaders around here?

[Tony's been trying to post this for days, there have been a few moments where he's started recording only to turn it off again.

CHARACTER INFORMATION
Name: Tony Stark
Canon: Marvel Cinematic Universe
Gender: Male
Age: 48
Suitability: N/A
Species:
Canon Point: End of Iron Man 3
World/Setting: N/A
History: MCU history of Tony Stark

Personality: Tony is a man of many complexities that at times almost seem at odds with each other.
He is also a man of great depth and emotion, however it is all greatly internalised.
Even going so far as to run the Stark Expo for an entire year in order for up and comers the chance to show case their work in order to get additional funding from those attending the expo or just to show off what it on the horizon.
Tony’s genius is currently unparalleled; the only person who rivalled him was his father who died roughly 30 years ago, while Tony was 15. Which is shown in his history with robots, his creating of JARVIS, not to mention his adapting his father’s arc reactor and being able to design a personal full body prosthesis that can achieve flight, is completely self-pressurised and contains an internal waste filtration system, also known as the Iron Man armour.
Due to his father being almost cruelly distant, and his mother barely being mentioned, it is obvious as to why Tony has a hard time being a part of team situations, or even trusting other on a basic level.
With the events of IM3 behind him.
*While it is stated the Tony started the Maria Stark foundation in supplemental data within MCU it is only referred to in the movies as anything more than the Stark Foundation.

Abilities/Weaknesses:
Genius - Tony is a born genius, and has accomplished many great things with that genius in his 48 years of life.
Mechanically/Electronically minded - There is very little that Tony stark cannot build or design, he even goes to the trouble of designing programs for hacking into specific places just to find out the information being held within. To this end, there is very little that Tony can’t do with the resources he has on hand.
Perfectly maintained front - Having grown up in the spotlight and under near constant scrutiny by the public, Tony has perfectly adapted a front of charming philanthropist playboy. Always with a grin and quick-witted thing to say at all times when in public. There has only been one time that he has come out from this mask and that’s was when he believed he was close to death, and let himself become irrational at all times because he was losing his own control.
Alcoholic - Living in his father’s shadow has inadvertently lead to him picking up similar coping mechanisms, one such mechanism was to head to the bottle when you want to escape. This was most obvious in the second movie, leading up to his near death. However since then while he has been seen with a glass very rarely will he find himself in excess with alcohol anymore.

Prose:
Are you really sure about this?”

The Pine Marten Tony has slowly been coming to terms with sat on a towel that rests on a metal work bench, watching him thoughtfully.

“You’re supposed to be part of me right? Shouldn’t you already know if I’m sure about this? I mean that is meant to be your thing, after all.”

Tony didn’t look up from the small circuit board he was soldering. He had been appropriating things here and there in order to build and work on his little project, another robot.

“And you know we don’t have to go over this, you know it already. It’s just. The portal could open any day, back to home. You have the suit, JARVIS, and now me. You don’t actually need to build this.”

Wiping off the tip of the soldering iron, Tony slips it back in the cradle then looks over at her.

“Okay, ferret-ball. Neither of us know that for certain, and I can’t just sit twiddling my thumbs when god knows what’s going on back in our world, I can’t just leave Pepper… Everyone out in the lurch, remember how we’re kind of part of a team.”

Tony pauses for a second and then rubs at his eyes as if suddenly very tired.

“One week and I’m already using first person plurals. I am part of a team, part of a relationship. It’s not something I can just abandon, not after all this personal growth I’ve gone through in the last few years.”

Getting on all fours Medea trots the length of the towel, leaping over Tony’s work to his arm, artfully climbing up it and curling around his shoulders. While he was slowly getting used to her doing it, he still couldn’t help but still find it strange that what still in his mind was a wild and kind of bitey, creature was getting comfortable on him.

“Okay, Tony. But I’m going to worry about you, because you never do.”

Abilities:
Tony is a genius inventor capable of conceiving and building technological advancements far ahead of cutting edge technology. Among his achievements are the redeveloped arc reactors that his father co-conceived, His almost hyper-intelligent A.I system JARVIS, his Iron Man armour marks I - VII, and various advanced weapons/medical/agricultural technologies.

Tony was taught to box by his body guard/chauffer Happy Hogan and has become quite physically formidable on his own when the situation demands it through his training and his various engineering projects that require him to be hands on, like working with cars or building particle accelerators.
However, without his Iron Man armour he is pretty much a normal human strength and reaction wise, so much so that without the suit he is actually the weakest avenger in a fight. And without the arc reactor powering the electro-magnet in his chest he will die within a few days, slowly and painfully.

Possessions:
The Mark VII Iron Man Armour, a pen, his cell phone, and a pocket screwdriver kit.

For a man like Tony Stark this is probably one of his biggest steps in personal development.

Head canonwise, I see Tony as having a great aversion to having people too close to his chest, after Stane’s callous attack on him and stealing the reactor from out of his chest. And also that he is not only an early riser, never sleeping in past 6:30am, but that he tends to sleep only for 6 – 4 hours a day when not caught up in his superheroing. A lover of coffee, he also tends to snack on various fruits and since the palladium poisoning takes a very conscious role in what he actually drinks, while not taking to complete sobriety, he is less keen to drink more than 2-3 drinks a night, scotch neat being his preferred abusive substance.

Plans:

Notes:
Tony has a peeve about being handed things and will rarely accept something he has been directly handed, and will become stand offish if the thing is forced on him by someone he doesn’t trust.

DÆMON

Name: Medea (Meh-Dee-ah). Tony mostly refers to her as Dea once he’s used to her.

Sex:
Female

Form:
European Pine Marten

Additional notes:
Dea tends to keep hidden on Tony’s person unless he is around people he trusts. Down on some level both of them are a little wary of the fact that she is small and not overly dangerous looking, which is also a part of the reason why she hides when in public. If forced to reveal herself she will never leave Tony’s shoulders.

Why this form:
The pine marten as a totem states that martens possess great wit and cunning, being resourceful and capable of great lateral thinking when necessary, needing to chew something over, protecting your home and yourself, having a great sense of where your boundaries are, swiftness of action and movement, being exploited for what you have and what you do, keeping your body in good condition, general anxiety and fussing over things.

All of these match Tony’s canon history to a T; as he proves his resourcefulness and lateral thinking countless times from using his weaponry to create the Mark I IronMan suit, to working his way through defeating all the Hammer drones, and Ivan Vanko. As well as hacking into SHEILD’s computer systems when he was sure that what Fury was saying and why he was doing them didn’t seem on the level.

His genius has also been exploited multiple times, by his Mentor and Partner Obadiah Stane in the first movie, by selling his weapons under the table to terrorists as well as trying to steal and create his own Ironman suits for mass marketing and his miniaturised reactor in order to power his weapon, no doubt with plans to mass produce it as well. In the second movie, the American Government persisted in demanding Tony hand over his suits to them and due to some self-destructive moments on Tony’s part, the US military ended up with his Mark II suit which Justin Hammer with great glee overly weaponised the suit.

Character Background:

The start of the Iron Man movies portrays Tony as impulsive and he has little respect for anything or anyone around him. This is due in part to his parents' deaths when he was 17, his genius-level intellect and the massive fortune he grew up with.

Tony soon realises that all this counts for nothing when after a weapons demonstration in the middle east ends in a fire fight that was caused to facilitate his capture. He saw good people dying to protecting him and fear lead him to try and run. In a twist of irony he got caught after suffering wounds from one of his own weapons, leaving pieces of irretrievable shrapnel in his system that would have killed him if not for the electromagnet placed into his body by a fellow captive, Dr Yinsen.

During his imprisonment, he was forced to agree to build his latest missile system using parts from his own technology that his captors had procured. His refusal resulted in torture, but Tony knew that even if he completed the weapons there was no way they would let him live. He needed to design an escape plan, or he was as good as dead. He built a power reactor connected to his chest that would “give him enough power to do something big for 15 minutes”, and with this and the aid of Yinsen Tony built the prototype for the future Iron Man suits.

While he had managed to destroy all the weapons his kidnappers had obtained and free himself from captivity, there was still a price to be paid: Dr. Yinsen’s life.

Tony realised that he was accountable for the lives lost; it was his weapons, that he was once so proud to sell in the strong belief that he was protecting America and her interests, that was responsible for this damage. When he returned to America Tony shut down the weapons development program within his company, determined to work more on his arc reactor technology to create things that would only benefit the world.

Tony also began to develop his Iron Man suit in secret, wanting to improve on his original design.
After finding out that Dr. Yinsen’s home town was being terrorized by the very people who had captured him, and that they were using newly obtained Stark Industries weaponry, Tony realised that with his suit there was something he could actually do to help this  village.

Tony was finally taking what he saw as proper responsibility and accountability for what his weapons had done.

In the second movie, we see Tony is starting to fall into a downward spiral. The Palladium core in the arc reactor is very quickly poisoning him due to the long term use of the Iron Man suit. As he grows closer and closer to death, he becomes horribly irresponsible with himself, drinking to excess and over indulging in women and parties. The situation is exacerbated by the government who are demanding that he hand over the suit, as they have deemed it too dangerous a weapon to be held by one man. Tony refused under the reasoning that the suit is merely an advanced prosthesis and that he can’t give up the suit without giving up himself. As he says in the movie, "I am the Ironman".

The movies also show that in the six months between the movies, Tony has been taught how to fight from Happy and possibly other sources.

Tony finally hit an all time low; acting irrationally and alienating everyone. He angered Pepper to the point where she no longer wanted to deal with him anymore. Considering how much he has put her through in the past, this just showed how bad he had let himself go. Not only that, but the man he considered to be his best friend got into a fight with him, destroying half his house and then flying off in the Mark II suit he managed to obtain from Tony.

Just as things looked the bleakest, Tony was once again contacted by the director of S.H.E.I.L.D, Nick Fury, whom he had met before at the end of the first movie to talk to him about the Avenger Initiative. This time however he had arrived to bring Tony the help he needs. Help that, to Tony's surprise, comes from his late father, Howard Stark, in the form of scientific notes and observations.

The fact that his father had left him his life's work, knowing that in the future Tony would have not only the technology to finish it, but the brains as well, stunned Tony, who had spent his life believing that his father had found him little more than a genetically similar annoyance, especially when his father admits that the greatest thing he created was in fact Tony, and not the company or the machines he had created.

Tony quickly went to work on what his father had left him. A hidden message revealed that his father had discovered a new element which that Tony quickly synthesized. Not only did he manage to create a stable version of the element, but it was also more than capable of being a suitable and non-lethal alternative to the palladium core.

Tony developed even greater respect for his father’s genius, and realised that his father had gone to a great deal of trouble to leave him something amazing, in more ways than one.

By the end of the Avengers, Tony seems to have taken on (or given himself) the role of second in command. This is shown with him issuing orders and relaying information to the other Avengers during the final battle, while still ultimately giving complete authority to Captain America/Steve Rogers. However while Tony is used to being the one calling the shots, ultimately he never actually tried to fight for the position of the leader. This could be because his father had told him stories about Captain America when Tony was a child; Tony knew that as much of a boy scout Steve was, he was more than capable of being an effective and strong leader.

Tony’s volatility comes from not only his rich background, but also his genius intellect. It allows him to not only think outside the box but to go one step further and completely re-engineer the box into something more.

However, as the Avengers movie progressed his attitude began to change. The major turning point is the death of Agent Coulson. While Tony has never really shown any actual attachment to Coulson, he did give a rather emotional response to his death as it made him realise that even though they had their differences, Coulson had believed in him and the entire avengers team so much till he paid the ultimate price trying to help them.

Through Coulson we actually see a few moments of Tony actually proving he has a heart, and that he believes others should be happy. He offered to fly Agent Coulson to Portland to see his girlfriend at one point before his death. In a conversation with Steve, in the very room Coulson had died, when Steve had asked if Coulson was married Tony replied, “There was a cellist... I think.” His face however, betrayed the fact that he knew very well there was a cellist.

Tony also became very agitated when Steve suggested that Coulson was prepared for death because they were soldiers. Tony turned to glare at him and declares that, no, that's not what they were. He was also shown looking at the blood stain left on the wall and not at all comfortable with it being there.

This all shows that he is capable of having powerful emotions. However, due to his past he has a lot of trouble properly expressing them. Deep down Tony is a caring man, who tends to let himself get distracted way too easily while indulging his hobbies.

Relationship with others (Just a few) :

Pepper Potts: To Tony, Pepper is not just his right hand woman. Tony relies on her to handle his entire life, from the day to day trivialities, to business transactions. Pepper is one of the few people who could ever get Tony to do as he’s told, even if it takes him awhile to obey.
Within the movie canon they become romantically involved at the end of Iron Man II.

Bruce Banner: Tony is shown to get along really well with Bruce, due to their shared interest and love in science and discovery. Tony is also the only one in the Avengers team who tries to open Bruce to the possibility that ‘the big guy’ is looking out for Bruce and can actually be controlled. Bruce is probably the only person who doesn't need to argue with Tony.

Thor: Right off the bat, Tony and Thor do not see eye to eye and it’s not just because Thor is taller. While the main point of their meeting and subsequent fight was over who had ‘possession’ of Loki, it quickly became a something of a battle of ego, with both refusing to back down to the other. By the end of the movie they share mutual respect, both parties having proven their capabilities during battle.

Captain America/Steve Rogers: As Tony has general problems with authority it comes as no surprise that after their initial meeting Steve and Tony don’t get along at all. This is only made worse by Tony’s need to point out how out of place Steve and his ideals are. However like with Thor, after having to work through a crisis together Tony soon realised how good Steve was at taking the lead, and even lets himself defer to his command. Tony does not relinquish the top position easily, and only does so with good reason or if forced.

Abilities/Special Powers:

As stated above, Tony has a Genius level IQ., he always is able to retain a high level of information, as well absorb information that he has an interest in within hours of taking an interesting in it and finding somewhere to obtain that information.

He's a very practised hand at working/building electronics, as well as being able to understand and manipulate most software by hacking into it with his own self developed software.

Tony's greatest power comes from his Ironman suit (Mark I - VII) and J.A.R.V.I.S which he built and has uploaded in his suit, on his phone (Which comes from Stark Industries, it seems) as well as in his home. Both were designed, built and adapted by him constantly and he is rarely far from either.

Tony is also shown to have an incredibly high alcohol tolerance.

Third-Person Sample:

Tony turned to look at his suit, that stood in the corner quietly.

First-Person Sample:
[Tony rolls the communication device in his hands for a second before switching it on and looking at it]

Hmm, a little outdated, but nothing I can’t upgrade. Maybe just redesign completely.

[He flicks through the applications then opens up a message board]

Okay, so. I have a serious need for donuts, jelly donuts specifically. Who knows where I can get something like that here? Hey Clint of Locksley, you’ve got to be able to hook me up here. There’s got to be one donut place you can see from one of the many high places you perch all day. Or a falafel hut, any of those?

Out of school living location: Southampton, England.
Blood status: Full blood.

Personality:
Canon Background: Stark's canon is here.
Background (AU!Canon; HP):

Sayonara, America.
Howard Stark in England.
Before Tony was born, Mr. Stark had visited England for a magical conference which was to show case new developments in magic from cutting edge spells to the newest brooms in development. It was where he met Maria, a bright young witch working within Muggle Liaisons. He stayed in England for a few more years, in which he married Maria, but was ultimately called back to America to continue his work in the American ministries Research and Development department.

Born Anthony Stark
Born in Long Island, New York State. Tony quickly showed himself to be a bright young child, easily taking after his father. As he grew older, his parents decided to put him into the American muggle school system, so he could learn and socialise while they were both busy with their work.
It was in school he showed most promise in his science classes, and by the time his family left America he was the first 7 year old in who was set to graduate elementary school.
In this short amount of time, he developed a strong love of fast cars, rock music and robotics. However, he didn’t have much time to expand on this as his family soon came back to England to help aid in the fight against the looming threat of very dangerous dark wizards.
Tony’s father’s intelligence and skills had not gone unnoticed and he was soon stolen away by disreputable wizards to get him to develop more devastating spells. His refusal cost his life. Tony’s mother lost her life months after, trying to keep a small muggle village safe from death eater destruction.

Alone in England
Tony was left in the care of the family butler, Edgar Jarvis. Where he was raised in a distant but caring relationship with the older man in the boys inherited and large Southampton estate.
Even though he wasn’t as close as he could be with his once busy parents, he had taken their deaths hard (Like any child would). Which lead him to start working more on his magical talents to develop them. Despite getting many letters from the ministry telling him he was not only too young but not even an enrolled student which meant his practicing was as yet, illegal. It failed to stop him, it would only cause him to work on more muggle based electronic gizmo’s to help make Jarvis’ and his own life easier around the house until a few months passed where he would start again playing with magic. Using his parent’s sacrifices as a reason to work even harder to try and develop magic that would protect more lives. As this was his parents final resting place, he had no intention of leaving the country, as he wanted to make a name for himself in the country they fought so hard to protect.

Acceptance to Hogwarts
After receiving his acceptance letter, the Stark heir, wasted no time in buying not only his school books for the year, but books he would need for second year too. He had found muggle schools far too easy, and had wanted to make sure he had the best advantage over his fellow students.
He bought a Great Horned owl and named it “Happy”, and his wand is 12 ½ inch, inflexible spruce with a dragon heartstring core. When not finishing his homework (Which never seems to take long) Tony can be found scribbling in note books trying to work out new spells or some electronic device, antagonising his friends or in the common room or great hall chatting up girls. He may be only 14 but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t know what he wants.

As an interesting note, Tony cannot stand people handing him things, and makes a habit of staying around his friends so they can take it so he doesn’t have to. Livejournal.

How would your character fit in to each House?

Gryffindor:
Tony doesn’t at all run short on bravery, daring and doing the right thing. His bias towards things and lack of patience has him quick to antagonise those who endeavour to always do the right thing. He also has a habit of pushing people’s buttons in order to find out how far they can be pushed before he even tries to get to know them.

Hufflepuff:
Never afraid of hard work, Tony always endeavours to get the job done not only fast, but get it done right. And while he has some weird ways of showing it at times, he is also very loyal to his friends. What undoes Tony is his highly competitive nature and he is rarely impartial to events going on around him.

Ravenclaw:
Never one to be humble, Tony’s genius is well known and has never had any problems getting the best results from all his magical studies. He has a very sharp wit, and shows some remarkable creativity when it comes to ad libbing spells and charms for a quicker or more superior result. With lower over blown results each year.

Slytherin:
Tony’s level of arrogance, would make him right at home with other Slytherins, and he does show a certain need to do whatever he can to get the job done, he is also very cunning about it, as he has a habit of never telling anyone what’s going on until the last moment (Partly due to his ‘lone wolf’ nature, and partly for his flair for the dramatic). He does however live by his own set of morals and would be less likely to use other people cruelly in order to get his way.

[Journal]

Okay, so. What’s the rule here on how many cauldrons you can use at a time? Because really. I’ve got something in the works here, and it’s going to be pretty big, only no one in my room is stupid enough to lend me theirs anymore. But hey, if they don’t want to be a part of the bigger picture of fame and glory, who am I to stop them from being humbugs? Anyway, not the point. Cauldrons. Need at least four so I can get this all brewing from the start, because If I can get this working, it will just be yet another triumph in the name of stark. What the hell, it’ll even put Hogwarts more on the map, and who doesn’t want that?

Third Person Sample:

Tony walked down the halls, with the swagger normally associated with full bloods and money. The swagger had a slight exaggeration to it as he headed to the great hall for breakfast. A Hogsmeade weekend was coming up, and there were more than enough girls in his year, attractive girls at that, so he was more than a little confident that he would be able to encourage at least two of them to join him for a butter beer in a quiet corner of the three broomsticks.

Striding into the hall itself, he chose to be subtle about his intentions for Hogsmeade.

“Hogsmeade is coming up, and I plan on treating some of you fine girls to more than a few butter beers and even a trip to Honeydukes. Of course, if you can’t decide on who wants to join me on a fabulous day. I might just have to try and turn this into a party somehow. What do we think of that?”

He gave a roguish smile to the teachers table, fully aware at how many of them were giving him disapproving looks, as the hall’s standard chatter had become more excitable with an undertone of male annoyance. Tony might have only been in America until he was 8, but there was no doubt the place had rubbed off on him. He went over to his house table and sat down, not having to wait long before a few of the more enterprising girls came to talk to him.

And people thought he couldn’t be subtle.
